JOKE OF THE WEEK

There were two people walking down the street. One was a musician. The other didn't have any money either.

BOB'S MUSIC IS ON THE BLOG

Finally, I can now put my music on my blog. Hooray!! Thank you to my sisters for nudging me along to get it done. Travis showed my how to record my music. Aaron got it on my playlist, which was not easy. He will still have to work with me to get other songs up and running. When you search for songs, just enter Bob Thorp and my songs will show up. Pretty neat, huh?
Love, Bob

Uncle Bob, Thank you!! I keep listening to you playing "The Rose", I have to admit I am crying. You are such and amazing player. I keep replaying it over and over. I have always loved your playing, such feeling and love with every note. It reminds me of watching you play so many years ago. Grandma would have been so happy too, you recorded to be played at any moment...what could be better in the world! She loved your music. Thanks so much for putting it on. I LOVE IT and I love you!! Please do more!!!!!

Thank you all so much for your nice comments.
Vickie - Thanks again for keeping my blog header updated. I think that helped inspire me to keep trying to get my music on.

Tami - You are such a sweet neice. Your words are very inspiring. The feeling that I put into every note comes from the years of encouragement that my Mom and Dad gave my as I played almost every night. You know my Mom. She would say I sounded great even if I made mistakes. I am so grateful that there is so much musical talent throughout our families. I love the music that your family plays. Keep it up.

Travis - Thanks again for your help in teaching me to record. I can help you get your music on the playlist.

Ginger - Thank you for your kind comments. It's neat to be able to put my music out on the blog. Yes, I only wish Mom and Dad could have listened to some of it. I will always remember how Mom would go around the house humming songs and then asking me to play them. Such sweet memories.

Dottie - Where are you? You helped encourage me to get this done.

Love to you all.
Bob

Thanks Bob & Lindsay for the kind words as I type through the tears. Mom & Dad would have been thrilled to hear your music on this. Every day I come in to play my card and board games but first I have to start your music. I'm don't know why Dottie hasen't been on to hear you. Oh and you have to give tons of thanks to your son Aaron cause he has helped you so much. Can't wait until I go on your blog and see that you have added another song. Lot of work but in thee end it is worth it. Love you and Lindsay and Dora...

Vickie - You are so right. You would not be listening to my music without the help of Aaron. He is one smart cookie. From 3000 miles away, he took over my computer and re-configured the settings to allow my keyboard to interact with the computer. Now it is a direct line feed (no outside interference) to the computer. I re-recorded all of the songs to reflect the much better audio sound. He also set up all of the links I need to put my music on the blog. Thank you so much, Aaron. Thanks also to Stephen. He re-installed my AOL and made it easier to move around. I wonder where these boys got their smarts! Must be from Lindsay!!

Bob, Yep, here come the tears of joy. Thank you, thank you! I've wanted you to do this for a long time. What beautiful music to wake up to. It really helped my hurting heart. Thanks for talking with me yesterday. I sure miss all you guys. Mom and Dad would love to hear this music and were so proud of you as we all are. I am so glad that David is taking after your footsteps. God has given you such a talent and keep using it and putting more songs on. I love you. Dottie

Oh, Bob, I can't tell you how perfect the timing was for me to hear you play this beautiful music. For some reason I wasn't able to get my computer to play the music before now. At the hospital my mom and Vickie were telling me about how I need to try to get it working. My daughter Destiny just brought in her laptop and helped me get it all set up so I could listen to you play. As I lay in bed recovering, the first day without my baby here next to me, I cry off and on but have God's gracious peace and comfort and the beautiful music of my Uncle Bob playing softly in the background. What a blessing it is. I praise God for the gift He has given you and am amazed at how He works through His body, you being His hands on that keyboard, and it truly helps in times of sorrow to find a peace that passeth understanding. I love you and am grateful that you are here playing in my room even though we're so many miles apart. God knew and made a way. I am so blessed to see how my son David has looked up to you and followed in your footsteps. He has also been such a blessing to me as everyone has. God is good and His mercy endureth forever. Of course, I can't help but think of Grandma and Grandpa when I hear your music and I am so thrilled to know that my little Christian Covenant Kruse is welcomed by His Heavenly Father and all His loving relatives that have gone before him with open loving arms. We have a hope to look forward to where we will all on day be together praising and adoring our great and mighty God for all eternity! I love you, Jodi

To Dottie and Jodi - Thank you so much for your beautiful comments. Lindsay and I have you all in our prayers. If my music eases your pain just a little, then God has succeeded in allowing me to finally get my music on the blog. Jodi, may your strong faith in God and his ultimate plan allow you to get through these difficult times.

Love, Bob and Lindsay
